According to the investigation and analysis by the price department, the price of main agricultural products such as fertilizer, agricultural film, pesticide, seed and agricultural diesel increased this year, and the cost of cotton production increased.

The results of the purchase survey showed that the average purchase price of the main agricultural products per kg, such as fertilizer, and so on, were 2.33 yuan, 0.8 yuan of ammonium bicarbonate, 0.57 yuan of superphosphate, 3.44 yuan of potassium chloride, 3.25 yuan of compound fertilizer, 1.61 yuan of mixed fertilizer, 14.45 yuan of agricultural film and 8.38 yuan of agricultural diesel fuel, respectively, which rose by 2.38%~13.11% respectively compared with the average annual purchase price in 2010.
Cotton seed prices rose by an average of about 8%.

According to the current price level of the main agricultural commodities and combined with its development trend, it is estimated that in 2011, when the seed, fertilizer, agricultural film, pesticide dosage and other production costs remain unchanged, the material and service cost of cotton per mu in 2011 is 382.5 yuan, up 13.57% over that of 2010.
This year, the labor price per labor day is 45 yuan, an increase of 7 yuan over 2010.
According to the number of household labor in cotton production in 2010, the labor cost per mu will reach 1008 yuan, an increase of 18.58% over 2010.
