Interview with Mr. Cui Tongzan, the head of shoe design training school of China shoe city technical college, the fierce shock wave of the international financial crisis has brought cold chill to Wenzhou's small and medium-sized enterprises.

Whether to live or die, to retreat or stick to it is a question that must be solved.

Wenzhou's small and medium-sized enterprises, which rely entirely on the market to develop from scratch, are called "grass-roots enterprises".

Recently, the world's clothing and shoe net visited the four thousand or five thousand enterprises that grew up from the tide of market in Wenzhou under the global financial turmoil. They interviewed Mr. Cui Tongzan, who is responsible for the shoe design training school of China shoe city technical college.

Mr. Cui and Mr. Tong graduated from the Department of leather engineering, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, in the field of leather shoes design.

Later, he was a senior teacher of Taiwan footwear industry and a Carman designer from Italy. She was awarded the Taiwan advanced research and development training course certificate and advanced skills certificate.

He is currently the Principal Lecturer in China shoe capital technology college and shoe design specialist of Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College. He is the head of shoe design and training school of China shoe city technical college, senior shoe designer / Technician, and the shoe designer of Wenzhou vocational skill appraisal center, and technical consultant of Wenzhou metropolitan e-shoes Co., Ltd.

He is the editor in chief of the textbook "design and manufacture of shoes template" and "shoe last design method".

Among them, "shoes model design and production" is listed as "national planning textbook in 11th Five-Year".

Under the financial crisis, Wenzhou shoe enterprises have been engaged in shoe industry design for nearly ten years. You can understand this industry very well. What do you think of the current macro environment of leather shoes industry under the financial crisis?

I think Wenzhou has been affected by the economic crisis, but its impact is not too great.

However, some export oriented footwear enterprises will be affected more. However, individual enterprises will be more dangerous and their orders will not rise or fall.

In addition, most of the shoe enterprises which are mainly domestic sales are not affected very much, because they have established mature processing channels and sales channels in the early stage, and the management situation is quite satisfactory.

When clothing shoes and hat enterprises are hindered by export, they actively seek solutions. Most enterprises choose to sell domestically, so is it easy to export to domestic market? What is the effect?

It is not easy to export to domestic sales in a short period of time, because these export-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises have been exporting for a long time, not only without domestic sales channels, but also have a low grasp of the domestic market trend. These export export enterprises generally have to make products according to the customers' orders, lack of independent innovation ability, and seldom take the initiative to design shoes. Therefore, it is difficult for export enterprises to achieve considerable results in a short period of time.

In response to the economic crisis, the government has introduced a series of preferential policies such as the export tax rebate rate increase, the increase of loan quota and the introduction of 100 billion tax reduction schemes. The government of Wenzhou has also responded positively and set up a platform to solve the financing difficulties of SMEs. Do you think these positive measures are pushing forward?

It is no doubt that timely attention should be paid to small and medium-sized enterprises and the introduction of so many preferential policies.

Including the export tax rebate rate, this will certainly have a role, and compared with the local small and medium-sized shoe enterprises, to a certain extent, to avoid risks and speed up the pace of financing, but compared with some small manufacturers, the role of policy promotion may not be obvious.

These manufacturers themselves have a poor ability to resist risks.

Although the promotion of policy is not yet apparent, the effect will be further revealed in the process of policy implementation.

How do you think of the "long vacation" and "closures" of employees? It is a normal phenomenon for enterprises to go bankrupt, and now it is off-season, and it is fast until the end of the year.

With regard to the failure of enterprises, export footwear enterprises will go bankrupt. The main reason is that the export business is not doing well this year. Local shoe companies also fail, but these are relatively normal. If there is no economic crisis, there will be new business registration and loss of enterprises.

There will be more failures in Guangdong's shoe enterprises, and more in Guangdong than in Wenzhou.

Moreover, Guangdong's foreign shoe enterprises are also many, and belong to all kinds of households. Therefore, the ability to avoid risks is worse.

Wenzhou shoe enterprises in the crisis hold together to warm up, Wenzhou, the size of the industry associations are more, do you think these associations to a certain extent played a role?

I think that the role played by Wenzhou businessmen is very great. The businessmen in Wenzhou have a strong sense of "hold together". If there are any problems, they will discuss and resolve them in the association so as to facilitate everyone to grasp the current situation. For example, some policies promulgated by the government and the Countermeasures of international anti-dumping, the association will actively seek suitable policy guidance for everyone, and the strength of the group is much greater than that of the monomer.

It can be said that the cohesion of trade associations is the cornerstone for small and medium-sized shoe enterprises to cope with the financial crisis.

How do you think of the storm impact that schools are facing in such a big social background?

The impact of the financial turmoil on the design school is not very large. Most schools are at the beginning of the year, and September is the peak period of enrollment. The annual winter time is low season. At present, the development momentum of schools is relatively good.

Because everyone is eager to learn and seek technology with the help of "one skill, success in the world". Basically, it will not be affected by the financial crisis. Some of the already skilled workers are charging the universities by the time of the current financial turmoil.

What kind of crowd do you want to recruit for your school?

There are two main aspects: one is the enterprise, the other is the individual.

The enterprise will appoint some employees to come to school for training, improve their skills, and better adapt to the development of the times; on the other hand, individuals want to get their skills, improve their overall quality, and show their talents in better jobs.

So what is your school's most worthwhile shoe designer's expectation?

The teachers in our school are very strong. For example, teacher Wu Jinxuan, our school's principal teacher, graduated from the Department of fine arts of Luoyang Higher Normal College in 1981. He has been engaged in footwear design for more than twenty years. He is currently the Chinese representative of the hundred Shoe Association of international footwear, the design director of China footwear industry interconnection, the chief editor of the Western leather magazine, the chief designer of the dynamic zone shoe, and the development and Design Consultant of many footwear enterprises.

Education has trained hundreds of excellent footwear designers.

Sum up the invention and creation of the "shoe form design quick method", "Wu's five stroke stereoscopic painting last method", "Wu's shoe last shape design rule", and acted as editor in chief of "footwear modeling innovation and design development".

We also have worked in the shoe design for more than twenty years. We have worked in the 5302 military factory of the armed police force, designed the boots for the national flag class and the parade honor guard, and also worked in large and medium-sized enterprises such as AOKANG, jilda and Qiao Neng in Wenzhou, and won the Design Award for leather shoes.

Many teachers, I am not here, enumerated.

Besides, the teaching features of our school are also first-rate: moving the market information into the classroom; moving the contents of the enterprise development design into the classroom; moving the practical application technology into the classroom; cultivating practical talents with the actual job demands of the enterprises; developing teaching contents and plans with the needs of market development; and "combining production with learning and production and learning" to ensure that the teaching content is synchronized with the development content of the enterprise and synchronized with the market development.

Conclusion: there is a saying that "the method is always more than the problem". The financial turmoil brings us not only crises but also opportunities. If we blindly expand our fears, we may lose our opportunities.

In the face of the shrinking international demand, the most important thing is to rely on enterprises to save themselves and work independently.
