In the process of garment structure drawing, there are many interlaced auxiliary lines. Although these auxiliary lines are not the lines we need at the end, they are necessary for completing the whole drawing work.

These auxiliary lines are the framework of the clothing structure. The accuracy of the frame is directly related to the accuracy of the drawings and templates.

These frames are generally straight lines, and the most important feature on line is "straight".



In the process of making board, we often extend some auxiliary lines according to needs, and the operation of extending straight lines is very learned.

The normal way of operation is to extend directly with a ruler, and it is difficult to grasp whether the extended part can follow the original direction.

In fact, a considerable portion of the deformation of the drawing or model is caused by the deflection and direction of the auxiliary line.

Then, how can we ensure that the straight lines and straight lines drawn by us will not have large skew?

  


In fact, the trick is very simple. That is to say, we should have a deep understanding of the principle of "a little difference, a thousand miles".

Whether it is straight line drawing or straight line drawing, it involves the problem of grasping the datum line of drawing. If the baseline is not considered when drawing the line, the straight line drawn or continued will be skewed.

Generally speaking, when drawing the first line, the datum line is the edge of the pattern paper or the drawing paper. Because the horizontal and vertical edges of the paper are generally the standard vertical relations, it is a relatively reliable original baseline.

The general ruler used by operators is a standard tool for weighing and measuring. The ruler and the triangle plate can perfectly complete the drawing operation of parallel and vertical lines, but unfortunately, many operators still can not grasp parallel and vertical. Why is this actually caused by error?

This is probably because they do not understand the principle of error formation.

We know that two points determine a straight line. When we draw a straight line, we only need to find two key points. These two key points are not on the straight line to be drawn, but on the reference line.



The size of the error is related to the distance between the key points.

We just need to remember that the greater the distance between the two key points on the reference line is, the less the line direction error is drawn based on this.

With this knowledge in mind, we can easily reduce the directivity error of auxiliary straight lines in future cartography and plate beating.

When drawing a straight line parallel or perpendicular to the edge of the paper, we need to find two key points and make the distance between the two key points as long as possible within the allowable length of the drawing ruler, so that the error can be effectively reduced.

  


It is worth noting that in the process of mapping, we do not always take the edge of the paper as the baseline.

Many lines drawn inside the drawing are based on a straight line nearby.

Our principle is to take as long as possible two points on the datum line as the key points.

In addition, we should avoid selecting the shorter straight line segments as the baseline.

If possible, it is best to use the original datum line - the edge of the paper as the baseline, so that the cumulative error of the drawing line can be reduced to the maximum.

  


The same is true for drawing straight lines.

Continue to draw a straight line, the baseline of this operation is the line itself.

Then the two key points we choose on this line must be as long as possible.

If we use a ruler to continue drawing this straight line, we must make the very long part of this ruler coincide with this straight line, so that the straight line that is drawn will be as ideal as possible to maintain the original straight line.

Many operators ignore this detail and draw a straight line as a "broken line", which we must pay attention to.

  


The push and drop of garment pattern is a job that garment technicians often do. Ensuring the accuracy of pushing is the basic requirement for this work.


 
   

At present, we often adopt the following methods: point placement method, stacking method, trailing method, general drawing method and similar form pushing method.

  


Point placement is usually done by drawing lines on a special code paper, and finally forming a general plan.

Since the largest or the smallest number can be first introduced when the operation is carried out, then the other parts are found by equal division in the middle. The equal division means that the error has a decreasing trend. Therefore, this push plate method can reduce the error very well.

  


During stacking operation, the files are regularly arranged.

When these files are arranged regularly, it is best to calculate the difference between the largest and the first gear, and to control the distance relationship between the two files.

Other files only need to be arranged according to the principle of equal division.

This can minimize errors.

  


The trailing method is generally considered to be relatively simple and quick.

But from the point of view of reducing error.

This method is not enough.

The reason is that this method is generally only suitable for push and drop by stages, and because the motherboard is prone to skew in the process of pushing, this will inevitably lead to larger accumulative error and deviation error.

In this sense, the trailing method is not applicable in any case.



   

Generally speaking, the structure is relatively simple (straight line) and the number of files is relatively small.

  


The basic principle of the general drawing method is to draw the smallest sample and the largest number of samples first, then divide the corresponding key points into a straight line to divide the distance equally and get the templates of other files.

Because this operation requires two sets of motherboards, it is seldom used by people.

But if we only consider the accuracy of pushing and pushing, the general layout is desirable.

  


The principle of similar shape push plate method is to enlarge and shrink the template according to the precise gear ratio. The operation is relatively simple and quick, and theoretically does not change the shape of the sample.

But because the push plate method requires specialized tools, it is unlikely that it will be popularized in a short time.

However, in strict sense, the accuracy of the push plate method is the highest.

  


Reducing the error of curve in pushing plate process

  


In the process of pushing the board, we will encounter many curves.

The length of these curves is changing along with the pushing of these patterns, but the curvature itself does not generally change much.

Besides the cost of designer, most of these curves are based on the human body. This prompts us to grasp the basic characteristics of the human body when pushing the board. The convex part should keep the convex property, and the concave part should maintain the concave property.



This qualitative problem is grasped, and the drawn lines do not seem to be any uncomfortable.

Also, when describing the corresponding curves, the starting segments of curves should be kept parallel. This is the detail that should be paid attention to in the curve area.

In the process of point code analysis, the distance between the corresponding curves of many parts is not easy to grasp. At this time, we can use a more ingenious way to solve the problem, that is, the ray from the origin of coordinates goes through the corresponding curve and then adjusts the distance between the corresponding points.

  


In the process of manually describing the template, many operators are accustomed to using curved rulers to describe them.

In fact, this is also one of the root causes of the error in the curve position.

It should be known that the location of the curve is enlarged by file, while the curve can not be enlarged by file.

In this way, many parts of the curve can only be approximately depicted, which is bound to cause greater error.
