Can a person without wings really fly? 2010 World Expo, Shanghai, the "vertical wind tunnel machine" of Latvia pavilion has given the audience a big feast. They really saw how people flew from the ground to the air.


In the Latvia Museum, there is a vertical wind tunnel made of glass. The wind tunnel is an artificial and controlled airflow to simulate the flow of gas around an aircraft or an object. Wind tunnel technology has been used for more than 30 years. It was originally used to train astronauts and pilots to adapt to weightlessness.

But in the Latvia Museum, the pparent vertical wind tunnel machine has brought an interactive and highly experienced "air flying" performance to visitors from all over the world.


Latvia Pavilion officially opened in May 26th. It is the last Pavilion in the Expo Garden. The Latvia Pavilion did not disappoint the tourists. The "flying in the air" performance gave visitors a full eyeful. On the day of the opening ceremony, Latvia Premier Broff East Keith also experienced a high flying flight. With the help of stunts, the Prime Minister of East Broff Keith flew off the ground and immediately received a cheering sound.

After "hatch", Prime Minister Keith of East Broff said this experience was very good.


The director of the Latvia Pavilion said that the vertical wind tunnel machine was built by a technology company in Latvia. They introduced the scientific and technological experiments in the laboratory to the public vividly, and provided visitors with the opportunity to experience this "happy technology" in person.
