Manual embroidery can also be industrialized.

Yesterday, I learned from Wuhan Textile University.

Mechanical electronics

Engineering graduate student Wu Lei and other 5 teams have invented a robot that can embroider cross stitch to fill the gaps in the special machinery field of cross stitch embroidery in China.

It is reported that the invention won the first prize in the eighth "Challenge Cup" science and technology competition of Hubei province just concluded.

Cross stitch is a very popular handicraft in recent years, but because traditional embroidery is hand-made and costly, although the scale of the industry is expanding, the profit is decreasing year by year.

Wu Lei and his team decided to invent a special robot instead of manual embroidery, so that cross stitch will be industrialized.

According to introduction,

Cross stitch machine

The machine is different from the embroidery machine currently in China.

The latter is computerized embroidery.

On the back, there will be more bottom lines, and no way of determining the way of alignment according to the grid of cross stitch cloth can only be regarded as "imitation".

The cross stitch robot has two mechanical embroidered arms, which can be embroidered on both sides, so as to achieve the effect of "false truth".

In addition, the robot is operated by computer interface, small and light, and can be used in workshops and families besides factories.
