The inventory function was officially released on December 2nd. Sellers can add inventory to new products, or modify the inventory of historical releases.

At the time of release, the system will add the default stock to the merchandise sold by the seller in history (the default stock of goods not set SKU is 999 pieces; the goods with SKU are set, the SKU of the goods state is 999, the default stock is 0, and the default stock of the SKU is no state).

Sellers need to pay attention to the following 4 points:

(1) if the seller's merchandise volume is sufficient, no modification can be made and the default stock will be used directly.

(2) if the seller needs to change the inventory, he can edit the valid stock on the merchandise management page.

The platform API interface has been synchronized with the on-line inventory function interface, you can also manage your inventory with your own ERP or third party software.

(3) if your product wants to join

(apart from full shop discount), it is necessary to set up separate activities (i.e. promotion quantity).

(4) after the inventory function is online, the consignment goods are supported by Taobao, and the stock can be sold.

The following concepts need to be understood:

Stock reduction of common products:

After the buyer pays, the general stock of the product will be deducted.

Active stock:

That is, the number of promotions, activity inventory is not included in the general inventory of products, and need to be set up after the establishment of marketing activities.

If the products under sale are registered for marketing activities (except for the whole store discount activities), the products in the activity state only deduct the active stock, do not deduct the general stock of the product; when the active inventory of the product is sold out, the product shows the original price and the general stock, and if the product is sold, the general stock of the product is deducted.

If a product is "selling", it does not need to set up the active stock when it enrolls in the "whole store discount activities". When the discount products are sold, the general stock of the products will be deducted. If you want to add the product inventory to participate in the whole shop discount activities, you can directly replenish the general stock of the product.

After participating in the sale of products (except full store discount activities), the buyer will deduct the product's activity stock after placing the order, and no matter whether the late buyer pays successfully, he will not return the activity stock.

Seller Sasa created a A product containing 5 SKU (price is 200/), set up 20 stocks for 5 SKU respectively, and the average stock of A products was 100.

At the same time, she signed up for the time limited discount activities, and set up 20 activities, and set the activity discount to 50%off. When the activity started, the products were sold by 100/, and the buyers were deducted from the active inventory (the active stock was 20), and the general inventory was not deducted.

When the activity stock is sold at 20 or after the activity is finished, the commodity will display the original price 200/, and the buyer will deduct the general stock after the order is paid successfully (the average stock is 100).
