Adidas has won the EU Supreme Court's ruling that "three oblique lines" are patent rights in the 28 EU countries.

The ruling can be traced back to the two oblique lines designed by Belgian Shoe Branding Europe in 2009.

Due to the success of the lawsuit, the adidas initiated a lawsuit based on the European Union's support from the European Union's General Court (2015).

Belgium's Shoe Branding subsequently appealed to the European Court of justice, while the European Court maintained its findings in the last two months.
