Uniqlo'S 65 Yuan Respirator Came On The Market This Week And Said That 99% Filtering Efficiency Can Still Be Maintained After 20 Times Of Washing
According to the report of CNBC on June 15, Uniqlo, the largest retailer in Asia, launched mask products. The statement said that the bacteria filtering efficiency of the mask was as high as 99%, and it could continue to be used even after 20 times of washing.
Uniqlo parent company Fast Retailing Group said in a statement on Monday that Uniqlo would start selling reusable masks in Japan on Friday. This mask will aim at performance and comfort. A set of three masks will retail for 990 yen (about 65 yuan).
Fast Retailing Group said that the decision to produce and sell masks was based on customer needs. The sales plan of Uniqlo masks outside Japan will be announced after being officially determined.
It is reported that UNIQLO has more than 2000 stores worldwide with annual sales of more than 20 billion dollars. Once the mask products are launched, UNIQLO will also become one of the largest mask retailers. Earlier, other large garment manufacturers such as Gap, Madewell and Adidas also introduced masks.
Fast Retailing plans to produce 500000 sets of masks every week. The respirator developed by the company in cooperation with Japanese textile enterprise Toray Industry Co., Ltd. will use the breathable air fiber of Fast Retailing Company. It is reported that breathable air fiber is often used to promote "breathable" summer clothing, which may enhance its appeal before the arrival of hot and humid summer in Japan.
