The Export Volume Of Textile And Clothing At Tianjin Port In July Increased On A Month On Month Basis

According to the statistics of Tianjin Customs, in the first seven months of this year, the export value of textile and clothing at Tianjin Port was 21.46 billion yuan, of which the export value in July was 4.99 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 26.7% and a month on month increase of 21.7%.

According to reports, the textile export at Tianjin port is dominated by private enterprises. In the first seven months of this year, private enterprises at Tianjin Port exported 16.47 billion yuan of textile and clothing, an increase of 2.6%, accounting for 76.7%. In addition, the main export destinations are the European Union, the United States and the ASEAN region. In the first seven months of this year, Tianjin Port exported textile and clothing to the EU of 6 billion yuan, an increase of 23.4%; exports to the United States and ASEAN were 3.53 billion yuan and 2.72 billion yuan respectively.

Due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the international trade situation has been greatly affected this year. In order to ensure the export of textile and clothing products, Tianjin Customs has launched a series of convenient customs clearance measures, formulated and implemented a long-term control mechanism to reduce the export clearance time, and continuously improve the customs clearance efficiency. At the same time, we should vigorously carry out the reform of "direct loading at the port" for export goods, implement the inspection mode of "pushing into the wharf", reduce the overall customs clearance time, open the inspection mode of free appointment and escort, and inspect the goods on arrival, so as to reduce the customs clearance time and ship demurrage charges of textile export enterprises.
