HANARO emulsion from farmhanong, a Korean pesticide company, will enter the Pakistan market.

According to the relevant director of farmhannong, hanalu emulsion is an effective insecticide against whiteflies, a major pest of cotton planting in Pakistan. Bitrifluril in hanalu is an IGR (insectgrowth regulator) insecticide, which can inhibit the protein synthesis of pests and block the peeling of larvae.

According to Wikipedia, Pakistan is the world's fourth largest cotton producer, with an annual cotton output of nearly 2.216 million metric tons. The optimum temperature for whitefly development is 25 ℃ - 30 ℃. It can reproduce better in countries with higher temperature such as Pakistan. According to relevant reports, Pakistan's excessive rainfall from July to September last year also led to a reduction of about 1 million bales of new cotton production.

It is reported that farmhannong has cooperated with Ayan crop science company of Pakistan to develop insecticides since 2019. The relevant person in charge of farmhannong said that in the future, it will continue to develop products targeting other pests and continue to develop markets in Pakistan.
