The Eurasian Economic Commission Decided To Cancel The Import Tariff Of Knitted Fabrics Temporarily; Eurasian Economic Commission; Knitted Fabric; Imported; Tariff

According to the official website of the Eurasian Economic Commission on May 18, the Committee adopted a resolution on the same day, which decided to temporarily cancel the import tariff of knitted fabrics until December 31, 2021. The commodities involved mainly include fabrics required by the Union textile enterprises to produce corsets. At present, the largest imports of the union are Belarus and Kyrgyzstan. According to the report, the Union currently does not produce such fabrics that meet the requirements, but Russia can organize the production of such products. The current tariff rate for the above goods is 3%.

The above decision will take effect 10 days after its official announcement.
